Old Times!
The Ohio river holds a lot of history from the past. Alomost to much to talk about. The Ohio river recived its English name from the native tribe called Iroquois. They named it at first O-Y-O or The Great River. It came with many names that created to Ohio River. The first European, a Frenchman in 1669 named it the Beautiful River. This river was used and is still used for transportation of crops and other goods. This all started during the 1800's with residents from Illinois, Kentucy, and Indiana. Most history is still alive today about the Ohio River
